Goldens Bridge Hamlet Organization Reviews Shopping Center Plans
SOMERS, N.Y. -- The Goldens Bridge Hamlet Organization will hold its first public meeting on Wednesday, according to the Lewisboro Ledger. The meeting agenda will cover a proposed renovation and expansion project of the North County Shopping Center and a report the organization had earlier this month regarding safety enhancements along Route 138, the Lewisboro Ledger reported. Family Seeks Official Records For Fatal Yonkers Police Chase
YONKERS, N.Y. -- The family of Sharlene Stinson is seeking official records for the Nov. 23 fatal police chase on Warburton Avenue in Yonkers, according to lohud.com. According to court documents, the family is seeking the names of the police officers involved in the chase as well as information on the vehicles. The papers accuse officials of withholding information from the family, reported lohud. PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- French 4 and 5 students at Pleasantville High School recently wrote and memorized original poems for a special event. The students recited their original French poems for friends and family at La Lecture de Poésie de la Classe de Français in the Library Media Center.

Robert Burns Supper In Greenwich Honors Scottish Poet
GREENWICH, Conn. -- A celebratory supper will honor the birthday of Scotland's national poet Robert Burns at Knights of Columbus in Greenwich on Jan. 23. The Burns Supper will feature pipes, music, poetry, toasts and a full Scottish dinner. Tickets are $55 in advance or $60 at the door. Three Hastings Students Have Artwork On Display At Concordia
HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Art from three Hastings High School students are currently on display at OSilas Gallery through Jan. 27. OSilas gallery will showcase Gina Lindner's "Apprehension of Loss," Michael Rotiroti's "Venice" and Maddie Osborne's "Cecily's Hunt." The works are part of the annual StArt exhibition, which showcases the art of regional high school students to the community at large. Stamford Man Charged With Brandishing Paintball Gun
STAMFORD, Conn. -- Police arrested a Stamford man after he allegedly flashed a paintball gun to a bouncer after being kicked out of a club, according to the Stamford Advocate. Flavio Buestan, 26, was charged with breach of peace, illegal possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle and illegal use of a facsimile firearm, the Stamford Advocate reported. Redding Residents Favor Plan For Outdoor Skating Rink
REDDING, Conn. -- The majority of Redding residents may support the installation of an annual ice skating rink, according to The Redding Pilot. Park & Recreation Commissioner John Board conducted an unofficial survey of 110 residents, and 80 percent responded with support of the idea, reported The Redding Pilot. Norwalk Man Arrested On Drug Charges Near Stamford Train Station
STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Norwalk man was charged with narcotics possession in Stamford early Monday, according to the Stamford Advocate. Andrew Woltmann, 32, was spotted acting suspiciously by a car stopped next to the Stamford train station, the Stamford Advocate reported.
