Trial Begins For West Point Cadet Accused Of Sexual Assault WEST POINT, N.Y. -- A court-martial began Wednesday for a U.S. Military Academy cadet from Ithaca accused of sexual assault, according to The Associated Press. Lukas Saul, 23, is charged with engaging in inappropriate contact with another cadet without her consent in 2012. The three incidents allegedly occurred at West Point and elsewhere, and carry a maximum punishment of Army dismissal, forfeiture of pay and life imprisonment, according to The Associated Press. Bridgeport Teenage Shooting Victim Won't Cooperate With Police BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A teenager who was shot Tuesday night in Bridgeport has not cooperated with police in their search for the suspect, according to ctpost.com.  The 17-year-old, who was shot in the shin on Stratford Avenue at 9:45 p.m., says he was by himself at the time and did not see who shot him, police said. An 18-year-old man who drove the victim to the hospital said he did not know or see anything, ctpost.com reported.
