Foreigner Unplugged Performs At Port Chester's Capitol Theatre
PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Arena rockers Foreigner will give an unplugged performance of their biggest hits at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester on Saturday, Feb. 13. The "Juke Box Heroes" have sold more than 75 million albums worldwide with 16 Top 30 hits, including "Urgent," "I Want to Know What Love Is," "Waiting for a Girl Like You" and more. Mount Vernon Library Screens Films For Black History Month
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- The Mount Vernon Public Library will host film screenings for Black History Month on Tuesdays throughout February. On Feb. 2, "Always Outnumbered, Always Outgunned" will screen. The film stars Laurence Fishburne as an ex-convict trying to build a new life. "Supremacy" stars Danny Glover as a man who uses his background as an ex-con to persuade a fugitive white supremacist to not kill him and his family. It plays on Feb. 9. Brewster High Student Assists Elderly Woman In Reading The News
BREWSTER, N.Y. -- Brewster High School senior Sarah Mitchell is assisting an elderly woman whose eyesight is fading. “This has been such a wonderful experience,” said Mitchell. “I hope this project will continue and grow after I graduate from Brewster High School. It truly is rewarding, and you really know you're doing a good thing.” The assistance came after Brewster High's chapter of the National Honor Society received a request from a local woman to help her mother. Mitchell records herself reading newspaper articles daily so the woman can still enjoy the stories by hearing the audio.…

New City FD Gives Shoutout To Resident Who Cleared Hydrant
NEW CITY, N.Y. -- New City Fire Engine Company 1 gave a Facebook shoutout to a resident for clearing the snow around a hydrant. The unnamed Prides Crossing resident cleared the show around the fire hydrant, and a photo of the spot serves as a perfect example of how a hydrant should be cleared in the event of a snowstorm.

3 Sacred Heart Students Pistol-Whipped In Bridgeport Home Invasion
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Three students were robbed and pistol-whipped in a Bridgeport home invasion on Saturday, according to the Connecticut Post website. Three armed men broke into an Old Town Road home, where they assaulted the occupants with a handgun and stole cellphones, jewelry and watches, the Post said.
