Man Killed In Town Of Poughkeepsie Fire ID'd POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Steanislaw Soltysiak, 75, of Poughkeepsie, has been identified as the man killed in the fire at 31 Durocher Terrace early Tuesday morning, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal. Wrongfully Convicted Danbury Man Receives $170K In Damages DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury man who was wrongfully convicted of exposing himself in the Newtown library nearly 15 years ago has been awarded $170,000 in damages, according to the News-Times website.  Michael Seri Jr. sued the state for $395,000 for his suffering and was awarded $370,000, the News-Times said. But $200,000 was subtracted, the amount he recovered by suing Newtown and its police department in 2009, the story said.  Seri is a white, balding man, and the suspect was described as a Hispanic male with black hair, but the Newtown police charged Seri despite the discrepancy, the News…
