Westchester Couple, Friend Killed In Vermont Crash

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Hastings-on-Hudson couple, Ryszard and Anita Malarczyk, and a friend, Jaroslaw Karczewski were killed Tuesday in an accident on U.S. Route 4 in Killington, Vt., according to multiple reports.
The victims and three survivors were traveling in a Cadillac Escalade that was hit head-on by a tractor-trailer crossing into oncoming traffic on the steep, icy highway, the Burlington Free Press reported.

HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- An alleged bank robber is still at large after he walked into Rondout Savings Bank in Hyde Park and demanded money on Wednesday, Dec. 30, police said in a release.
