RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield Library will host a program on early stage dementia on Sunday, Oct. 4. "To Whom I May Concern" will feature Alzheimer's patients telling their stories using a reader's theater format. Living with the complexities of advanced Alzheimer’s and dementia-related illnesses is difficult for families. Dealing with the earliest stages of dementia presents a different set of issues. Danbury Police Seek Information In 2014 Death Of Man Found In Street
DANBURY, Conn. -- The Danbury Police Deptartment is seeking information about the death in 2014 of Neri David Ramirez. On June 1, 2014 at approximately 1:40 a.m., police responded to a report of an unconscious male found laying in the roadway in the area of Hillcroft Apartments at 10 Clapboard ridge Rd. Police and EMS personnel located a Hispanic male later identified as Ramirez, 31, of 42 Osborne St. in Danbury. Ramirez died several days later at Danbury Hospital from his injuries. Pequot Library Exhibits Rare Arthur Miller Books In Centennial Celebration
SOUTHPORT, Conn. -- Pequot Library is exhibiting a collection of Arthur Miller's books in their Rare Book Case through Oct. 8. The exhibit is in honor of the playwright's 100th birthday. Miller's most popular plays include "The Crucible," "Death of a Salesman," "All My Sons" and "A View from the Bridge." He received a Pulitzer Prize for drama. The display is open to the public for viewing during normal library hours.

Celebrate Bedford's Oktoberfest
BEDFORD, N.Y. -- The Bedford Historical Society will host Oktoberfest Saturday on the Village Green. Enjoy craft beers, food, wine and live music by Lo Tide and Funktoberfest. PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- More than 300 runners and walkers participated in the Putnam County Department of Health's second annual RUN 4 YOUR LIFE event. The event featured a five kilometer race, a one mile walk and a half-mile fun run for kids. Seventeen-year-old Zach Nordstorm of Patterson won first place in the men’s division with a time of 19:20.
