Bridgeport Police Charge Two Men In Knife Fight
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Two suspects have been arrested on charges in connection with an altercation involving a knife near the corner of Arctic Street and Pembroke Street in Bridgeport on Saturday, Sept. 5, police said. Reynaldo Andre Hernandez, who was in possession of a knife, said during police questioning that a group of individuals came to his home looking for trouble at about 5 a.m. Hernandez said he followed them to Arctic Street and approached a group of individuals he believed were responsible for damaging his vehicle, police said. The Kraft Heinz Company has expanded its voluntary recall of select Kraft singles due to choking hazards, according to the FDA. As previously reported, a potential choking hazard arises from the possibility a sliver of the packaging film may remain stuck to the slice of pasteurized cheese product after the individual wrapper has been removed. DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien Monuments and Ceremonies Commission will observe Sept. 11 this year at the 9/11 Memorial behind Middlesex Middle School. The ceremony is open to the public and begins at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11.
