Art Walk Ridgefield Opens Friday With Receptions, Live Music
RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Art Walk Ridgefield 2015 will kick off from 5-8 p.m. Friday with opening receptions by the merchants with their featured artists and live music from RMAC. Art Walk will feature more live music and demonstrations from noon-4 p.m. Saturday. Sixty-two restaurants, businesses and cultural venues will participate in Art Walk from Aug. 21 to Sept. 12, transforming downtown into a strolling art gallery. Cortlandt Man Battling To Remove Neighbor's Eyesore
CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- Cortlandt Manor resident James Tina has been battling with town officials to remove the industrial equipment of his neighbor's yard since 2008, according to a story by westchester.news12.com. In 2008, the town's zoning board ordered the rusted trucks and industrial equipment be removed from neighbor Sheldon Gardner's yard, and for a temporary fence to be erected, the story said.
