White Plains' Gardella Pool Opening For Summer
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- White Plains' Gardella Park Pool officially will open just in time for summer Friday. The pool will open daily at noon and close at 7:30 p.m. through Aug. 30. Admittance to the pool necessitates a White Plains Recreation I.D. card. To obtain an I.D. card, visit the Recreation and Parks Office at 85 Gedney Way. Free CPR Instruction Offered At Darien YMCA
DARIEN, Conn. -- Darien EMS - Post 53 will offer free CPR instruction to members, employees and guests of the Darien YMCA. Members from Post 53 will offer 10 minute instruction sessions on CPR and AED usage on June 27, July 11, July 18 and July 25 from 9 to 11 a.m., and June 29 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The informal classes are free and do not provide CPR certification.

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- The Village of Mamaroneck Fire Department's carnival is set for June 26 through July 5 at Harbor Island Park. The department's annual parade begins at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The parade begins at Mamaroneck Avenue and ends at Harbor Island Park. Fireworks will take place at dusk July 4 at Harbor Island Park. Lewisboro Land Trust Launches Annual Community Campout
LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- The Lewisboro Land Trust will have its First Annual Community Campout and Nature Weekend June 27-28. The community campout will include guided hikes, a pot luck supper, group breakfast, campfire and a toddler hike. Participants can camp overnight or just join the activities and sleep at home. Activities are free and camping is $10 per adult. Camping space is limited, so early registration is suggested. Mount Kisco Lions Having 'Downtown Thunder' Fundraiser
MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- The Mount Kisco Lions Club will have a charity motorcycle ride July 26 through Hudson Valley. The 75-mile police escorted ride will benefit Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
