Westchester County Park Passes Now Available
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Summer will soon be here and residents can now purchase a pass to access all Westchester County-owned parks, pools and beaches. An individual pass is $75 and valid for three years. A family pass for two adults and children living at home between the ages of 12 and 18 is $150 and also valid for three years. Passes for seniors and disabled residents are $75 and valid for six years. To be eligible for a pass, the purchaser must be 12 or over and possess either a driver's license or photo identification with proof of Westchester residency. Disabled patrons must …

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – North Dakota artist Michael Strand is coming to Port Chester High School on Wednesday, April 29, for a Day for the Arts, part of an eight-month project called Port Chester: Melting Pot(s). RYE, N.Y, — The Rye Free Reading Room's Gadgets Science Fun Club will have a Compu-Child Lego Robotics program at 3:30 p.m. Friday. Byram Hills High Alumni, Faculty Perform In Theater Program Benefit
ARMONK, N.Y. — A cast and crew of alumni and faculty came together for a benefit performance of "Next to Normal" at Byram Hills High School on April 13 under the direction of Joy Varley. “We live in a community that has come together tonight to celebrate our legacy and endow the future of the Byram Hills Stage theater program,” said Varley, who is retiring this year as fine arts director. New Rochelle's Jacob Leisler Statue Gets A Cleaning
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — Restoration work has begun for the Jacob Leisler Monument on Broadview Avenue. The Daughters of the Revolution and the Huguenot Association erected the bronze monument for New Rochelle's 225th anniversary in 1913. American Artist Solon Borglum designed the statue. Leisler was advocate for the early Huguenot settlers in the area. The statue's restoration comes from surplus funds from the 325th Anniversary Committee for New Rochelle.
