Paul Borowiec, 63, Longtime Ossining Resident
OSSINING, N.Y. — Longtime Ossining resident Paul Borowiec died on Saturday, May 7. He was 63.
A native of Levittown, Pa., Borowiec moved to Westchester County in 1972 to study philosophy at Kings College.
He was self-employed as a private contractor and was a member of All Saints’ Episcopal Church in Briarcliff Manor.
He volunteered for Loaves and Fishes, Hurricane Sandy relief, and Habitat for Humanity.

Elizabeth C. Geraghty, 86, Pearl River Resident
PEARL RIVER, N.Y. — Pearl River resident Elizabeth C. Geraghty died on Monday, May 2. She was 86.
Born in Ireland, Geraghty came to the U.S. in 1959 and achieved citizenship in 1997.
She worked as a housekeeper for Dr. Frederick Schroeder for many years.
She is survived by her sister, Kathleen Yakich and nephew Edward Yakich Jr.
Geraghty was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1995.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:15 AM on Friday, May 6 at St. Aedan's R.C.Church, 23 S. Reld Drive, in Pearl River.
Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Nanuet.

Molly E. Bing, 69, Jersey City Resident
JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Jersey City resident Molly E. Bing died Saturday, May 7. She was 69.
A native of Union City, Bing received her masters degree from Jersey City State College and was a school teacher in Jersey City.
She is survived by brother, Richard Bing; nephews James, John and Robert Bing and their spouses; and five great-nieces and great-nephews.
Bing was predeceased by her parents, John and Drucinda Bing.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 37 Warner Ave., Jersey City.
Private cremation will follow.

BERGENFIELD, N.J. — Bergenfield resident Jerome, F. Capone died Thursday, May 5. He was 87.
Capone is survived by his wife, Miriam Capone; daughters, Elizabeth Thompson, Cynthia Chettum and her husband Glenn and Nancy Zingone and her husband Mark; sons, Douglas Capone and his wife Susan and Paul Capone; sisters Shirley Daniels and Carol Collins; grandchildren Jaimee, Lisa, Christopher, Brooke, Brad, Matthew, Daniel, Christina; and nine great-grandchildren.

YONKERS, N.Y. — Yonkers resident Marilyn Becker, (Shemeta) died on Sunday, May 8. She was 76.
Becker is survived by her husband, Lenny, children Chris, Cynthia and Tracey, grandchildren, Alyssa, Ryan, Aria and Ashley, her sister Nancy and her husband, Harvey.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 11, from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, May 12, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Ave., Yonkers.
Services will be held at the former Most Holy Trinity Church on Friday, May 13, at 10 a.m.

Louis DeFeo, 92, Elmsford Resident
ELMSFORD, N.Y. — Elmsford resident Louis DeFeo died on Sunday, May 8. He was 92.
He was born on Jan.7,1924 to Pellegrino and Mary DeFeo in the Bronx.
DeFeo served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II He was a retired Electrical Inspector with New York City and later became a real estate broker.
DeFeo is survived by his wife, Janet DeFeo; his children, William and his wife, Gail DeFeo, Richard and his wife, Madeline DeFeo, and Joan and her husband, Craig Rogers; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. — Longtime Mount Kisco resident Dominick P. Nappi died on Thursday, May 5. He was 72.
He was the son of the late Dominick and Elda Nappi.
Nappi is survived by his two daughters, Lisa Bucci and her husband, Jonathan, and Angela Scholten and her husband, Franz; granddaughter, Victoria Bucci; sisters Tina Notorangelo, Janet Roider, Laurie Ladwig and her husband, Robert; brother, Michael Nappi and his wife, Heather, and special friend Mary Carbone.
He was predeceased by his parents, Dominick and Elda Nappi.
