Rafik R. Habra, 70, Former Wappingers Falls Resident
STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford resident Rafik R. Habra, formerly of Wappingers Falls, N.Y. died on Friday, April 29. He was 70.
Born in Jaffa, Rafik spent his childhood in Cairo, Egypt and later moved to Beirut, Lebanon. He graduated from Columbia University with a master's degree in electrical engineering.
Rafik began his career with IBM at the East Fishkill location in 1967 before transferring to the IBM Almaden Research Center in San Jose, Calif., in 1997.

GLEN ROCK, N.J. — Longtime Glen Rock resident Monica Konefal Seibert died Friday, April 29. She was 79.
Born in Passaic, she lived in Rochelle Park, and Baltimore, Md., before moving to Glen Rock 37 years ago.
Prior to her retirement in 1979, she was a teacher for the Maryvale Preparatory School in Baltimore for six years.
Previously, she was a high school teacher employed by the Hasbrouck Heights Board of Education.
She was a parishioner of St. Caherine's R.C. Church in Glen Rock, leader of the Bereavement Group and with the Stepping Stone Ministries.

EMERSON, N.J. — Emerson resident Michael R. McNamara, formerly of Pearl River, N.Y. died Sunday, May 1. He was 53.
Born in the Bronx, to Michael J. And Jane (Mahoney) McNamara, he was a graduate of Albertus Magnus High School and received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Pace University.

STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford resident Delia Hattendorf Fine died on Friday, April 29. She was 64.
Fine was a 16-time Emmy Award winning television producer with The Arts & Entertainment Network.
Her credits include "Pride and Prejudice," "Horatio Hornblower," "Shackleton," "Murder in a Small Town" and "Longitude."

TRUMBULL, Conn. — Longtime Trumbull resident Marousa (Pavlou) Andreou died on Monday, May 2. She was 82.
She was born in Poros, Greece, to Panayotis and Costandina Votsi Pavlou.
Andreou was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Bridgeport.
She is survived by a son Nikolaos Andreou of Trumbull, brother Nickos Pavlou, and sister-in-law Maria Pavlou.
