Chappaqua Fire Department Sponsoring Easter Egg Hunt CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The Chappaqua Fire Department will be hosting an Easter egg hunt Sunday. The hunt will begin at 1 p.m. at the Chappaqua Crossing Property, Route 117 Roaring Brook Road. The event is sponsored by the Chappaqua Fire Department. There is no rain date scheduled. The Easter Bunny will be walking around downtown Chappaqua from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Saturday.

Katz: State Budget Should Be Open WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Obsession with an on-time budget trumps legislators' responsibility to read, understand and report to our constituents about the budget and all its $142.5 billion parts before we vote on it. We will see the majority of the budget a few hours before we vote. I can't think of anything more bizarre and irresponsible than feeding this governor's obsession at the taxpayers' expense. Oh, by the way, we've been told there is not one tax cut or any relief at all for small businesses and middle class taxpayers in this budget.

Mount Vernon Graduate Named Youth Of The Year By Boys And Girls Club MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Jaron Dobson, a 2014 graduate of Mount Vernon High School, has been named the 2015-16 Youth of the Year by the Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon. He is a member of the Teen Program at the Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon, a junior staff member and also participates in the Poet's Club. Dobson is currently a freshman at Westchester Community College. "I have been a proud Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon member since I was in the fourth grade in 2005," he said. Volunteers Donate Bikes To Port Chester Elementary Students PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Twelve students who participate in the Port Chester Public Schools’ After School program at the Carver Center received bicycles and helmets this week from volunteers who work at Pfizer Inc. The 12 students (six from Edison School, six from John F. Kennedy Magnet School) were selected randomly to receive the bicycles, which were assembled by employees of Pfizer as part of a corporate team-building event.
