Schubert Club Performing Works Of American Composers On Sunday
POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – The Schubert Club of Fairfield County presents Music by American Composers on Sunday at 3 p.m.
The composers include Seymour Barab/Dorothy Parker, Amy Beach, Alma Hamilton, Lerner & Loewe, Marcia Preston, Robert Puleo, Eugenie Rocherolle, and Rodgers & Hammerstein.

Susannah Volpicelli, Of Darien, 85, Former Kraft Foods Hand Model
DARIEN, Conn. – Susannah Wright Volpicelli, 85, of Darien, died March 15, 2015.
She was born in Chappaqua, N.Y. Feb. 10, 1930. Volpicelli graduated from Horace Mann School and received a bachelor's degree from Syracuse University.
She was married to Louis Joseph Volpicelli Oct. 30, 1953. Volpicelli had a career in television and advertising, working for J. Walter Thompson as a talent agent and supplementing her income as a hand model for Kraft Foods. With the birth of her only child Elizabeth, she became a full-time wife and mother which she believed was her greatest achievement.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Janet D. Wright, of Bridgeport, died Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Bridgeport Hospital. She was 79.
Born in Raleigh, N.C. to Jerman and Mary Alston Hill, Wright had been a resident of Bridgeport the past 62 years. She was employed as a private duty nanny. Her spiritual needs were met as a disciple of Messiah Baptist Church for 40 years, where she served on the Outreach Ministry and the Senior Choir.
In addition to her parents, her husband, Horace Wright; her companion of 52 years, Willie Allen; a son, Duke Wright; a brother; and two sisters predeceased her.

STAMFORD, Conn. – Anthony J. Canale Jr., a Stamford resident, died Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Stamford Hospital. He was 84 years old.
Born on June 1, 1930, in Waterbury, Conn., the son of Anthony J. Canale Sr. and Annette (Bandolilo) Canale. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local Union 38. Canale served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Garrison's Boscobel Expands Children's Programs In 2015
PUTNAM, N.Y. – Boscobel House & Gardens, a historic site in Garrison, has expanded the activities available for children during 2015, which will include an exceptional learning experience as well as a challenge.
