Artist Selected To Create Huge 'Gateway To Norwalk' Project NORWALK, Conn.  – Artist Suikang Zhao has been selected to lead a community-based public art project that will see the creation of an almost 780-foot-long sculptural installation on West Avenue, the Norwalk Redevelopment Agency and the city of Norwalk announced. The program is supported with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts ‘Our Town” competitive grant program and matched by the City of Norwalk. Norwalk Girls Fastpitch Softball Holds Tryouts On Sunday NORWALK, Conn. – Norwalk Elite 2015 girls fastpitch travel softball tryouts will be held for players 12-years-old and under on Sunday, Nov. 16, at the Sono Field House. All players’ tryout from 4 to 5:30 p.m., except for pitchers and catchers, who will tryout from 5:30 to 6 p.m. The Sono Field House is located at 365 Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, in Norwalk. Players 12-years-old and under, who were born between Jan. 1, 2002, and Dec. 31, 2003, are eligible.
