Mount Vernon Basketball Court Vandalized MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – A recently renovated Mount Vernon basketball court was vandalized overnight Thursday, according to News 12 Hudson Valley. The court at Fourth Street Park had its brand-new tiles torn up sometime between 10 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday, the story said. Recreation Department employees cleaned up the damage Friday, reported News 12 Hudson Valley. Police are offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest, the story said. Morgan was born on June 26, 1952 in White Plains to Henrietta and Charles Morgan Sr. He graduated from White Plains High School, playing football on the undefeated team of 1969 and still holds the national high school record for the 40-yard dash at 4.3 seconds. Greenburgh Posts 2016 Budget Online GREENBURGH, N.Y. – Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner announced the town's proposed 2016 budget has been finalized and will be posted online this weekend. Feiner announced the budget is within the state tax cap, raising the budget by less than 1 percent compared to 2015. This means that local residents should be in line for state rebate checks. The budget will slightly rise from about $15.88 million to about $15.96 million, and spending is projected to be down 4 percent, from about $17.8 million to about $17.2 million, due to a $750,000 reduction in the uncollected taxes allowance.
