Norwalk Man Charged With Pushing Girlfriend, Mother Down Stairs NORWALK, Conn. – A Norwalk man was arrested and charged early Friday morning for pushing his girlfriend and her mother down a flight of stairs at home on Fort Point Street, according to The Hour. Elvin Giron, 38,  had an argument with both women, following his girlfried as she went up the stairs to check on children. The argument reportedly escalated and resulted in him punching the girlfriend and her mother, The Hour said. The dog's owners were found about 90 minutes after the owner of the Crossfit gym, located on 51 Catherine Street, posted the photo on the page. The dog was spotted running around Route 311 near Terry Hill, and attempts to catch it were unsuccessful. If you've seen this small, white dog, contact local authorities.

Mahopac-Carmel Chamber Honors Business Persons Of The Year MAHOPAC, N.Y. – The Mahopac-Carmel Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Business Person of the Year Awards and Annual Kick-Off Event dinner at 5:30 on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at the Putnam County Golf Course. Kenny Hogan of Kenny's Carpet One will receive the Business Person of the Year award, while Karl Thimm will be given the Business Person Meritorious Award for his 45 years of service in the area.
