Anthony Facchiano, 85, Of Poughkeepsie
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Anthony Facchiano, of Poughkeepsie and formerly of the Bronx, died at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie on Wednesday, Dec. 23. He was 85.
Facchiano was born in the Bronx on April 18, 1930 to Luigi and Gulia (nee Ferraro) Facchiano, serving in the Army during the Korean War.
After his service, he spent 25 years as a postal clerk before retiring in 1989.
Facchiano was predeceased by his parents, five siblings, Mary Rizzo, Angelo, Jimmy, Suzie Finelli and Millie; and son-in-law Anthony Giordano.

Mary Regena Linnsen, 85, Formerly Of West Haverstraw
WEST HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. – Mary Regena Linnsen, of Palm Bay, Fla. and formerly of West Haverstraw, died Sunday, Dec. 20. She was 85.
Linnsen was born Aug. 17, 1930, to James and Catherine Hurst McGarry, working as a registered nurse for Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield in New York City.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Levi and son Bjarne.
She is survived by her daughter Susan Linnsen of Palm Bay, Fla., and friends Mary Ellen Clarke of Pearl River, Anne Marie Hogan of Pearl River, and Denis McCool of Montrose.

WEST HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. – Claire Marie Bicknell, of West Haverstraw, died Dec. 20 at the Joe Raso Hospice Residence in New City. She was 85.
Bicknell was born March 21, 1930, in Haverstraw to Michael and Mary Anderson.
She worked at High Tor Lanes Bowling Alley and Kingman Home Improvement.
Bicknell was predeceased by her parents, and is survived by two children, Mary Jean Grau of Haverstraw and John J. Burkert of Cumming, Ga., along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister Maureen Mariano, brother Michael Anderson and many nieces and nephews.

Ann Brenkert, 69, Of Waldwick
WALDWICK, N.J. – Ann Brenkert, of Waldwick, died Thursday, Dec. 24. She was 69.
Brenkert was born in Brooklyn and lived in Waldwick for 48 years.
She worked for the Waldwick Board of Education as a secretary in the Traphagen and Crescent elementary schools.
Brenkert is survived by her husband, Albert; three sons, Craig and his wife, Rebecca, of Midland Park, Brian and his wife, Tricia, of Bloomingdale, and Robert and his wife, Hope, of Monroe, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.
