Jerzy Wnuk, 90, Of Nanuet
NANUET, N.Y. – Jerzy (George) Wnuk, of Nanuet, died Thursday, Nov. 19. He was 90.
Wnuk was born April 6, 1925, in Warsaw, Poland, to Andrzej and Helena Wnuk.
He was a survivor of the Holocaust, being liberated by the British 11th Armored division on April 15, 1945. Wnuk survived imprisionment at Alt Garge, Neuengamme and Bergen Belsen, beating typhus and tuberculosis while on the death march to Bergen Belsen.
After recuperating in a Swedish hospital for a year, he went on to earn a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the Stockholm Technical Institute.

Elizabeth 'Betty' Funesti Of New Milford
NEW MILFORD, N.J. – Elizabeth "Betty" Funesti, of New Milford, died Nov. 17.
She worked as a school teacher in Park Ridge, Elizabeth, North Arlington and Germany.
Funesti was predeceased by her husband Robert.
She is survived by son Robert, son James and his wife Darlene, brother William DiMeola, and three grandchildren.
Visiting hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield.
The funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 280 Washington Ave., Dumont.

Mildred Hanaburgh Butler Miller, 96, Of Rhinebeck
RHINEBECK, N.J. – Mildred Hanaburgh Butler Miller, a lifelong Rhinebeck resident, died Thursday, Nov. 12. She was 96.
She was born Nov. 28, 1918, to Charles and Ethel (nee Bodley) Hanaburgh, graduating from Rhinebeck High School.
Miller was predeceased by her parents, husbands Albert Butler Jr. and Henry Miller, daughter-in-law Mildred Butler, stepson Ronald Miller, four brothers, Hanford, Charles, Raymond and James Hanaburgh; three sisters, Minnie Newkirk, Christine Hanaburgh and Esther Spencer, and half-sister Mary Gerzalian.

James Patrick Mulrane, 85, Of West Nyack
WEST NYACK, N.Y. – James Patrick Mulrane of West Nyack died Monday, Nov. 16. He was 85.
Mulrane was born Oct. 23, 1930, to James and Ellen Mulrane in New York City, serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and working as a draftsman for Mabstoa in New York City.
He was predeceased by his parents, wife Eileen, sister Mary and brother Terrance.
Mulrane is survived by his son James, granddaughter Caitlin, sister Alice and brother John.
Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home in West Nyack.

Dutchess Sports Hall-Of-Famer Ed 'Biggie' Moran, 87, Of Hyde Park
HYDE PARK, N.Y. – Ed "Biggie" Moran, of Hyde Park, died on Monday, Nov. 16. He was 87.
Moran was born on June 4, 1928 in Harrison to James and Geraldine Smith Moran.
He played baseball throughout the 1940s, before, during and after his Navy service in the Korean War, being inducted into the Dutchess County Sports Hall of Fame in 1985.
Moran worked at IBM for 30 years in Quality Control, retiring in 1985.
He was was predeceased by his parents, three brothers, James, Richard, and Raymond; and sister Adelaide Decker.
