Smash-Grab Suspect On Run After Incident In New Canaan Park Police are searching for a suspect who managed to get away after smashing a parked car's window at a popular park in Fairfield County and stealing items before fleeing. The incident occurred in New Canaan in the pool parking lot at Waveny Park at 677 South Ave., on Saturday, June 10. 11 Injured After Stolen Car Crashes Into Vehicles On CT Roadway A three-vehicle crash at a busy Connecticut intersection allegedly caused by a man driving a stolen car injured 11 people. The crash took place in New Haven County around 4:15 p.m., Saturday, June 10 in Meriden at the intersection of Windsor Avenue at West Main Street. Road Closure Alert: I-84 Construction Work To Limit Lanes In Hudson Valley Construction work on I-84 in the Hudson Valley will reduce the highway to one lane in each direction on weeknights for several months. The state Department of Transportation is advising Orange County motorists to expect one lane to close along I-84 in each direction between Exit 36 (I-87) and Exit 39 (Route 9W) in the town of Newburgh on weeknights beginning Monday, June 12. Woman Used Fake $100 Bills At Long Island Saks, Police Say Police are asking the public for help identifying and locating a woman wanted for allegedly using fake $100 bills to purchase goods from a Long Island Saks Fifth Avenue store. The incident took place in Suffolk County around 11:30 a.m., Friday, March 10 at the Huntington Station Saks located in the Walt Whitman Shops. Hudson Valley Man Nabbed With Gun, 16-Round Magazine, Police Say A Hudson Valley man was charged with possession of a weapon after being nabbed with a gun and a 17-round magazine. Ulster County resident Aiden M. Becnel, age 21, of Saugerties, around 4 a.m., Tuesday, June 6, said Chief Joseph Sinagra, of the Saugerties Police. Child Porn: Stamford Man Nabbed With Videos Of Minor Children, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been busted with alleged child pornography following a lengthy investigation.
