59-Year-Old Killed In Parking Lot Crash On Route 1 In Fairfield A 59-year-old man working as a surveyor was killed after being struck by a car in the driveway of a business in Fairfield County. The incident took place in the town of Fairfield around 9:20 a.m., Wednesday, May 17 in the parking lot of 2150 Post Road (Route 1). Police Searching For Duo Who Allegedly Robbed Store In Danbury Police in Fairfield County are searching for two men who allegedly robbed a smoke shop and fought with the employee and a witness. Man Charged With Pointing Gun At Car In Westport A Fairfield County man who was a passenger in a vehicle was charged by police with allegedly pointing a gun at another car. The incident took place in Westport on Tuesday, May 16 in the area of 980 Post Road East. According to Lt. Moose Struck, Killed By Car On CT Highway Days after state officials put out warning for drivers to be on the lookout for moose along the state's highways, one was hit and killed by a vehicle. The incident took place in New Haven County around 6:50 a.m., Wednesday, May 17 in North Haven on northbound Route 15 -- known as the Wilbur Cross Parkway -- near exit 63, said the Connecticut State Police. Hudson Valley County Receives Restraining Order Against Additional Asylum Seekers A State Supreme Court judge has granted a temporary restraining order to a Hudson Valley county that stops New York City from sending additional asylum seekers.
