She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Missing CT Woman Found Dead On Shore Of River, Police Say A Connecticut woman who was reported missing was found dead a day later floating on the shore of a river. The incident took place in New Haven County on Friday, March 3, around 2:30 p.m. in West Haven. Connecticut Department of Transportation workers contacted police after spotting what appeared to be a body on the westside shore of the West River by the Kimberly Avenue Bridge, said Sgt. Hudson Valley Man Sentenced In Violent Home Invasion, Stabbing A Hudson Valley man has been sentenced to state prison after pleading guilty to stabbing a woman during a violent home invasion. Orange County resident Jonathan Harris, age 41, of Middletown, was sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by five years of post-release supervision for the incident which took place on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Long Island Man Nabbed Stealing Running SUV, Police Say A Long Island man was nabbed shortly after allegedly stealing a running SUV at a convenience store. The incident took place in Baldwin around 5:30 p.m., Saturday, March 4 in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven store. According to Nassau County detectives, Scott Cali, age 59, of Long Beach, stole a Honda Pilot SUV while the owner left the vehicle left the SUV running with the key fob in his pocket. Woman Struck, Killed Crossing Busy Long Island Highway A woman was struck and killed while crossing a busy roadway on Long Island. The incident took place in Bay Shore just after midnight between 5th Avenue and Brentwood Road on Sunrise Highway (Route 27). Suffolk County Police detectives said Jennifer Bolgehn, age 37, of Glendale, Queens, was walking across Sunrise Highway when she was struck by an eastbound 2009 Nissan Rogue. Double Shooting: 1 Killed, 1 Injured In Waterbury Police in Connecticut are searching for the suspect in a double shooting that left one person dead and another injured. CT Man Stabs Victim, Injects Self With Fentanyl, Police Say A Connecticut man allegedly stabbed another man and then injected himself with a vial of fentanyl attempting to commit suicide.
