Woman Stabbed Multiple Times In Hudson Valley, Suspect Nabbed, Police Say A man from the area is behind bars after allegedly stabbing a woman in the neck several times. The incident took place in Dutchess County on Friday, Jan. 27 on Wolcott Avenue in Beacon. The woman was found after Beacon Police received a call from her telling officers she had been stabbed inside her home, said Det. Sgt. Jason Johnson of the Beacon Police. Woman Shot, Man Stabbed During Stamford Street Fight A woman was shot and a man was stabbed multiple times during a large street fight in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Stamford around 2:10 a.m., Sunday, Jan. 29 in the area of lower Summer Street. The wounded duo was discovered when Stamford Police officers responded to a report of a large group of people -- approximately 30- 40 people -- arguing and physically fighting with each other in the street, said Capt. 1 Shot To Death In Peekskill, Person Of Interest In Custody, Police Say A man found on a city street died from a gunshot wound in Northern Westchester while police say a person of interest is in custody. The incident took place in Peekskill around 4:15 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 29 in the 600 block of John Street. According to Peekskill Police Chief Leo Dylewski, officers responded to John Street for a report of shots fired. Know Him? Man Wanted For Stealing Vehicle In Hudson Valley Know him? The New York State Police are attempting to identify a man who allegedly stole a vehicle in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Dutchess County on Tuesday, Jan. 10, when the vehicle was stolen from the driveway of a residence on Route 9D in the town of Wappinger, said Trooper AJ Hicks. The vehicle was later found in Orange County in the city of Newburgh, state police said. Woman Severely Injured During 'Senseless' Robbery By Stamford Teen, Police Say A Stamford teen has been charged with allegedly severely injuring a woman during a robbery as she was leaving work.
