Bridgeport College Rental Burglary Suspect Nabbed
A burglary suspect who has been targeting Fairfield County college students breaking into off-campus rental properties has been arrested.
Rajiv Holness, age, 23, of Bridgeport, was nabbed by Bridgeport Police on Monday, Oct. 17 following a months-long investigation.
Over the past several months, the Bridgeport North End homes, specifically Sacred Heart University off-campus rental properties, were plagued with a rash of residential burglaries, said Det. Albert Palatiello, of the Bridgeport Police.

Woman Rescued After Sailboat Overturns In Peconic Bay
A woman was rescued from the waters off Long Island after her Sunfish sailboat capsized.
The incident took place in Southampton around 4 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17 in Peconic Bay near Robbins Island.
The woman, Barbara Gilman, age 56, from Georgia, was able to call for help, and Southampton Patrol Units, Southampton Marine Patrol, US Coast Guard, and state police boat responded along with Southampton and North Sea Fire Departments and Southampton Volunteer Ambulance, said Lt. A new surveillance video from a Whole Foods store shows Gabby Petito hours before she was killed by her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie.
The video, obtained by Fox News Digital, shows the couple driving up to the store in Petito's signature white van on Friday, Aug. 27, 2021, just a short time after the two had a fight at a Jackson Hole, Wyoming restaurant called the Merry Piglets.

Man Accused Of Punching Person 'Holding Up Line' At CT Dunkin' Donuts, Police Say
A man was arrested for allegedly punching another man in the face for taking too long in line at a Connecticut Dunkin' Donuts.
The incident took place in New Haven County around 9:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 17, at the shop in Milford.
According to the Milford Police, New York resident Asken Ozdemir, age 45, of Port Jefferson on Long Island, became irate and began arguing with the man in front of him in line for taking too long.
