She has a bachelor's degree in English from Stony Brook University and a Master's degree in publishing from Pace University. She married with four teenage children and is a competitive runner and avid exerciser.

He was 63.He was the husband of Megan (nee: Heffron), father of Christian, Maggie and Catherine, and son of Anne Fraser.  For more than three decades, he was the tennis and paddle tennis professional at the Upper Ridgewood Tennis Club and Waldwick Covered Courts, and also was a paddle tennis professional for Wilson Paddle Tennis Camps.  He wrote a novel, ‘The Soul Stealer."
