Riverwalk Latest County Landmark To Be Named After Al DelBello YONKERS, N.Y. -- The Alfred B. DelBello Riverwalk was recently unveiled in Yonkers at the Al DelBello Riverwalk dedication ceremony. DelBello, who served as Westchester County Executive from 1974-1982, died May 15 at the age of 80. DelBello, a Lewisboro resident who also served as mayor of Yonkers and Lieutenant Governor to Mario Cuomo, is credited with bringing to Westchester County a business climate that has transformed the county.
