Hendrick Hudson High School Stages 'The Laramie Project' CORTLANDT, N.Y. -- Hendrick Hudson High School Theatre in Cortlandt presents "The Laramie Project" by Moises Kaufman and the members of the Tectonic Theatre Project. This project portrays the true story of Matthew Sheppard, a Wyoming University student who was brutally beaten and left to die because he was gay. It is directed by Clare Carey. Seventeen students play 60 different roles. Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theatre Project, traveled to Laramie. Stamford Woman Charged With Biting Police Officer, Kicking Two Others STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford woman who was high on PCP was arrested on assault and drug charges of biting one police officer and kicking and spitting on two others, according to the StamfordAdvocate.com.At about 8 p.m. Saturday on Chestnut Street, officers detained Jacqueline Adams, 32, because they smelled marijuana and PCP in her vicinity, StamfordAdvocate.com said.
