FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. -- Police arrested one man on drug charges and another for failing to pay child support in separate incidents.Fabian Colthirst, 26, of Maplewood, was charged with having marijuana, drugs on school property and in a motor vehicle, as well as drug paraphernalia possession, after he was approached on Aug. 9 while parked at the Colonial Road School, Lt. John Bakelaar said. Who Rock Is Last Hike In Alpine Series for Kids
ALPINE, N.J. -- “Who Rock,” the final hike in the Palisades Interstate Park summer series of “Rachel’s Rangers,” will be Tuesday, Aug. 18, leaving from State Line Lookout in Alpine at 10 a.m., according to The Record.
The hikes are designed for children seven or older, who must be accompanied by an adult. They are led by the staff of the Kearney House, and will be held “drizzle or shine,” The Record said. No advance registration is necessary, and the hikes are free. Just come to the Lookout, with your grownup escort, in plenty of time before the 10 a.m. - noon hike begins.
