Cresskill Organization Brings Independence To Paterson Man CRESSKILL, N.J. -- Giants of Generosity installed a wheelchair lift for Paterson resident Conrado Bermudez so he can independently receive dialysis treatments three times a week. “Thank you so much for this," said Bermudez, whose lift was donated by Handi-Lift Inc., in Carlstadt. ”You’ve really made a difference in my life. Applications Being Accepted For Rockland Youthfest CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- Exhibitor applications are now available for businesses and non-profit agencies to participate in YouthFest 2016. For 17 years, YouthFest has featured nearly 200 vendors and exhibitors to inform residents about programs and services throughout Rockland County. More than 6,000 people attended in 2015. Elmwood Park Reminds Residents About Snow Shoveling Rules ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. -- Winter is here and Elmwood Park officials have issued a seasonal reminder to residents about how to remove snow. First, residents should remove snow and ice from their sidewalks within 12 hours of daylight after snowfall. Also, residents should not simply push snow into the street. Additionally, fire hydrants should be cleared within 5 feet of all directions so they can be safely used in the event of an emergency. Man Injured In Shelton Bicycle Accident SHELTON, Conn. -- Brian Climis, 55, of Ansonia, was critically injured in an accident involving his bicycle this morning. According to ctpost.com, the crash took place in front of 504 Bridgeport Ave. Climis was transported to a hospital after the crash.
