Mobile Blood Donation Truck Visits Wyckoff Library WYCKOFF, N.J. -- The Wyckoff Free Public Library will host a Community Blood Services mobile donation vehicle Monday.  Healthy individuals between the ages of 17-75 and weighing at least 110 pounds can donate. Donors should eat a moderate meal before donating and bring proper identification showing signature.  Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are recommended. To schedule a donation, call the reference desk at 201-891-4866 Ext. 2.  Donors also will receive complimentary non-fasting cholesterol and glucose screening.

Rockland Traffic Stop Yields Weapons Cache RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Ramapo police found multiple weapons when they made a traffic stop early Friday.  About 3:20 a.m. a patrolling officer stopped a car in the Hillcrest area for a traffic violation. The five teenage males in the vehicle were allegedly found to be in possession of a Walther P38 handgun, pepper spray, two knives, a bulletproof vest and an expandable PR-24 baton, as well as several pieces of stolen property, police said.  The teens are suspects in larcenies from motor vehicles in Hillcrest, Spring Valley and Clarkstown, police said.  Anyone who may be a victim can call Ramapo po…
