Decorate Gingerbread Cookies At Wayne Library
WAYNE, N.J. -- The Wayne Public Library will have a gingerbread decorating event Tuesday. Participants will learn to use a pastry bag and decorate their own gingerbread creations, courtesy of Miss Marianne and Miss Suzanne of Edible Art. Family Of Sandy Hook Victim Finds Healing By Writing About Therapy Dogs
NEWTON, Conn. -- The Bacon family of Newtown felt helpless after losing their 6-year-old daughter Charlotte in the 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School three years ago today, Dec. 14. Yorktown Police Nab Suspect In Bank Robbery
YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown Police arrested Kerry D. Vanterpool, 25, of the Bronx in connection with a recent local bank robbery. Putnam County Savings Bank on Lee Road was robbed on Sept. 17 by two males wearing hooded jackets, hats and sunglasses. The suspects fled on foot with bags of stolen money. Three suspects were arrested and interviewed in the Town of LaGrange on Sept. 22. Following the interviews, Detective Tausz applied for an arrest warrant for Vanterpool. An investigation for the remaining suspects is still ongoing.

Brewery Business Booms In New York
The craft beverage industry has expanded in the past year by 43 new farm breweries, bringing the total number in New York to 106. "New York's thriving craft beverage industry continues to grow, create jobs and bolster local economies in every corner of this state," Gov. Andrew Cuomo said. A global VP of culinary and hospitality is now part of Whole Foods Market, according to Supermarket News. Chef Tien Ho is filling the new role, reportedly aiming to elevate the markets' prepared foods and bakery departments. Ho's previous experience includes overseeing 10 hotel brands at the Morgans Hotel Group's culinary department. Art Show Continues At Westwood Gallery

Newtown's State Rep. Bolinsky Slams Transportation Lockbox Proposal
NEWTOWN, Conn. -- State Rep. Mitch Bolinsky (R-Newtown) criticized a transportation lockbox proposal at Tuesday's special session of the Legislature.
