Norwalk's TFI Envision Creates New Packaging Graphics For Prestone Products NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk-based TFI Envision, Inc. created the new packaging graphics for the leak-sealing product line of Prestone Products Corp.  The product line launched this year at AutoZone and was prominently displayed at the AAPEX show in Las Vegas last month.  TFI Envision, Inc. was challenged to keep the clear plastic, three chamber package structure visible while still communicating the product use clearly and differentiating between the three SKUs while explaining the new chemistry's three-step process.

Stamford Grandmother Charged With Dealing Cocaine STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford grandmother was charged with drug dealing after police found an ounce of cocaine in her apartment Tuesday, Dec. 8, reported the Stamford Advocate. According to the story, the arrests of Maria Hidalgo, 48, and Norwalk's Jose Chavez, 38, were the culmination of a two-month investigation, during which authorities allegedly organized a drug buy from the pair.  Both were charged with two counts of sale of narcotics and conspiracy to sell narcotics and one count of drug paraphernalia possession and sale of more than one ounce of cocaine, the story said.  Read more …

Woman And Dogs Rescued From Burning Home WESTON, Conn. -- A Georgetown first responder rescued a Weston woman and her two dogs on from a burning home on Monday, according to the Weston Forum.  According to the Weston Forum, Marty Heibeck, first assistant chief with the Georgetown Fire Department, was first on the scene at the Samuelson Road home after the fire was reported around 2:30 p.m.  Upon arrival, he saw flames from the first floor and a woman holding a small dog on a second floor window, the Weston Forum reported.
