Yorktown Participates In Hour Of Code Event YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Computer labs at schools throughout Yorktown participated in the week-long national event Hour of Code. "I like how it taught you to how to code and then you could do your own thing," said 10-year old-student Riley Tiberii. Deputy Superintendent Florence O'Connor visited Crompond Elementary School to check out the scene. Yorktown High School will hold coding hours throughout the week in the library. Wine Tasting Benefits Peekskill Education Foundation PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Dylan's Wine Cellar will host a wine tasting benefit for Peekskill Education Foundation on Saturday, Dec. 12. Proceeds will fund educational programs in the Peekskill City School District. Dylan's will also hold a pottery sale to benefit the foundation on Dec. 12 and 13. Admission to the wine tasting event is $25 per person at the door or $20 online in advance via www.peekskilleducationfoundation.org. Kids Serving Hope Fundraiser Raises Money To Fight Cancer HAWTHORNE, N.Y. -- Solaris Racquet Club recently hosted the inaugural Kids Serving Hope tennis fundraiser to benefit Bash Cancer and Little Angels in China. Both charities were founded by nine-year-old friends and tennis enthusiasts Sebastian "Bash" Oré of Tarrytown and Hiroshi Hebner of Scarsdale. 80 College Students Become Ill After Eating At Chipotle's In Boston Eighty students at Boston College became ill after eating at Chipotle's Cleveland Circle location in Boston. According to The Boston Globe, all the students have been tested for norovirus and E. coli.The Boston Public Health Commission revealed that the presence of norovirus was found at the restaurant by state officials. As previously reported, an outbreak of E. coli that sickened 45 people was traced back to a particular item on Chipotle's menu. Read more at boston.com.

Female Teacher's Aide Charged With Sexual Assault Of Stratford Student STRATFORD, Conn. — A 46-year-old Stratford woman who worked as a teacher's aide at a city middle school was arrested Tuesday on charges of sexually assaulting a student, according to NBC Connecticut.
