Children's Chess Tournaments Coming To Westchester County NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- The National Scholastic Chess Foundation's Grand Prix 2015-16 tournament season kicks off Nov. 7 at New Rochelle's Columbus Elementary School. “Competitive chess for children is a chance to put learning into action. Classic Films On Screen At Suffern's Historic Lafayette Theater SUFFERN, N.Y. -- The Robert Benmosche Film Festival at the Lafayette Theater kicked off with "A Hard Day's Night" Oct. 17 and will screen classic and recent films until Dec. 12.
