JCC On The Palisades Features Sephardic Film Screening TENAFLY, N.J. -- Kaplen JCC on the Palisades will screen "Flory's Flame" on Nov. 18.  "Flory's Flame" is a documentary on 90-year-old Sephardic music legend Flory Jagoda.  The documentary interweaves a 2013 celebration concert at the Library of Congress with her life story growing up in Bosnia and Croatia.  The screening is free to the community and begins at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be available.  Kaplen JCC is located at 411 E. Clinton Ave. in Tenafly.

Stamford's Palace Presents 'Beauty And The Beast' STAMFORD, Conn. -- Disney's Broadway musical smash "Beauty and the Beast" will play at Stamford's Palace Theatre on Oct. 30 and 31.  The award-winning musical is part of the Palace's Theatre Series and is produced by NETworks Presentations.  A pre-show party with "Beauty and the Beast" activities and crafts will precede the play an hour before showtime. Participants are welcome to walk the red carpet in costume and pose with cut-outs of their favorite characters. See 'Oklahoma!' In HD At Ridgefield Playhouse RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- The Ridgefield Playhouse will screen the Academy Award-winning musical "Oklahoma!" on Nov. 1. The high-definition screening of the fully restored film will feature a pre-show featurette starring Kristin Chenoweth singing numbers from the musical.  "Oklahoma!" was originally released in 1955 as a film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II. Screenings will take place at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $15.

Man Charged With DWI In Yorktown Following Accident YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Anthony P. Isola, 40, of New Fairfield, Conn., was recently charged with driving while ability impaired drugs and unsafe backing.  According to the Yorktown Police Department, on Oct. 20, Isola backed out of a driveway onto Route 100 into traffic and collided with another vehicle while operating a 2015 black Toyota under impaired ability by drugs. Isola was released on $100 bail to a family member and is scheduled to answer the charges in Yorktown Court on Nov. 24.
