West Milford School Board Approves Solar Study WEST MILFORD, N.J. -- The West Milford school board recently approved a solar feasibility study for the district's schools. According to northjersey.com, the $42,500 study will determine whether the buildings of West Milford High, Macopin Middle, Marshall Hill Elementary and Westbrook Elementary Schools can handle 35,000 combined square feet of solar panels. Scarsdale Library Screens Healthy Eating Film 'Forks Over Knives' SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Scarsdale Public Library will screen a film that explores changing from animal to plant-based diets on Nov. 7.  "Forks Over Knives" examines the notion that diseases like cancer and diabetes can be controlled or reversed by abstaining from animal-based and processed foods.  Local plant-based nutrition coach and health educator Ronna Corlin will lead a discussion and Q&A following the film.  The screening begins at 2 p.m. Refreshments and snacks will be served.  Advance registration is recommended at scarsdalelibrary.org.
