Master Yoga Teacher To Speak At Scarsdale Forum SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Scarsdale Forum will host master yoga teacher Tao Porchon-Lynch during its Oct. 25 Sunday Speaker Series.  Porchon-Lynch will discuss helping the Jews escape the Nazis during the French Resistence, her march with Gandhi and living a vital life.  She has more than 70 years experience practicing yoga and 45 years of teaching. Police: Woman Caught With Arrows In Pants At Danbury Walmart DANBURY, Conn. -- A Danbury woman was arrested on charges of stuffing hunting arrows into her pants at the WalMart in Danbury, according to News-Times.  Lora Pearson, attempted to leave the store without paying, as did her accomplice, Victoria Beninson, who was seen attempting to leave without paying for nearly $100 worth of clothing, the News-Times said.  They were charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, the story said.  Read the full story here at the News-Times website.

Woman Charged With DWI After Route 312 Stop In Southeast PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Connecticut woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated in Southeast, according to Putnam County's Sheriff's Department. Genie L. Taylor, 33, of Seymour, Conn., allegedly was observed committing traffic violations Oct. 8 along Route 312 and International Blvd. Police said Taylor was intoxicated and driving with a suspended license. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Woman, 40, Charged With DWI In West Nyack Stop CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- A Bridgeport, Conn., woman was arrested on charges of driving under the influence on Route 59, police said.  Carmen Reyes, 40, was observed driving in an erratic manner by a Sheriff Patrol Officer, police said. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated DWI with a blood alcohol content of .18 or more, according to a press release from the Rockland County Sheriff's Office. Reyes was released on summonses to return to Clarkstown Justice Court on Oct. 19.
