Mount Kisco Walk Explores Local Ties To Revolutionary War MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- The Mount Kisco Historical Society and Conservation Advisory Council are sponsoring a history and nature guided walk on Oct. 3.  The walk will show evidence of the 14,000 foot Alpine high mountains and mile high glaciers that shaped the hills and valleys of Mount Kisco.  In addition to the nature, the walk will also cover the history of Mount Kisco and its ties to the Revolutionary War. American Red Cross Blood Drive Comes To Norwalk Hospital NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk Hospital will host a community blood drive on Oct. 6.  Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health. They should wear comfortable clothing with sleeves that can be rolled up and drink plenty of fluids on the day of donation. According to the American Red Cross, someone in the U.S. needs blood every two seconds. Up to three lives can be saved from a single donation.  The drive will take place from 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the Patio Room on the fifth floor.
