Women's Health Care Of New England Opens Office In Westport
WESTPORT, Conn. -- Women's Health Care of New England has opened a new office in Westport. Dr. Maryam Hedayatzadeh and Nicole Protomastro, APRN, are working at the new facility. Hedayatzadeh received her medical degree from Ross University and completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Green will discuss the history of discovery, galactic formation and evolution and different types of galaxies, as well as recent discoveries and research and analysis methods. Additionally, Green will cover why knowledge about the estimated 125 to 200 billion galaxies is important to our own planet. PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- The new season of Putnam After Dark at Putnam Valley Grange begins Oct. 2 with Bigfoot in Our Backyard. GREENWICH, Conn. -- Ajit Hutheesing will lecture on the past, present and future of India at the Retired Men's Association of Greenwich on Sept. 23. Hutheesing was born in Mumbai and his mother was the sister of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India, and the aunt of Indira Gandhi, India's third prime minister. Ossining's Chalk It Up Festival Back For Second Year
OSSINING, N.Y. -- The Village of Ossining will hold the second annual Chalk It Up festival on Oct. 4. The Mike Risko Band, Adam Love, Nancy Carmichael and Martin Aronchick will perform at the event. In addition to enjoying musical performances and local food and craft vendors, attendees can reserve a portion of the Main Street sidewalk to draw with chalk. Chalk It Up runs from 10 a.m, until 2 p.m. The event is organized by the Ossining Downtown Entertainment Committee.

Sopranos Perform In Recital At Armonk's St. Stephen's
ARMONK, N.Y. -- St. Stephen's Episcopal Church will kick off a series of concerts with a recital featuring local sopranos Kimberly LeDone and Kathleen Monson on Friday before the Armonk Outdoor Art Show. The classically trained sopranos are graduates of the Manhattan School of Music and will perform with pianist Riko Higuma. The free concert is the first in a series of Music from St. Stephen's and will paint a tale of art history through music. St. Stephen's is at 50 Bedford Road. The concert begins at 6 p.m.
