Kensico Dam Plaza Ceremony Honors Westchester Victims Of 9/11 Attacks MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Westchester County will honor the victims of Sept. 11 with a public memorial ceremony. “Each year we come together as one community to remember the 111 Westchester residents and 12 former residents who lost their lives that tragic day,” said Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino. “To some extent, time heals.
