Mahopac Library Transforms Computer Center Into Learning Lab MAHOPAC, N.Y. -- The Mahopac Public Library has relaunched the former Public Computer Center as its Learning Lab.  The Learning Lab will offer technology drop-in help more than 19 hours per week with no reservations needed. Patrons can bring their own device or use one of the lab's computers. Children under 6 must be accompanied by a parent.  The lab also offers group classes on computer and Internet usage, a technology club for teens and coding for kids. Kids Can Sign Up For Weinberg Nature Center Camp SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- The Weinberg Nature Center will host an August Nature Camp for kids ages 4 and a half to 10 from Aug. 17 to 21 and Aug. 24 to 28. Camp activities include nature hikes, dinosaur days, stream exploration, science experiments, Weinberg's resident animals and more. There will be a surprise for campers each Friday. Aspetuck Land Trust Sponsors Ash Creek Hike In Bridgeport BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Aspetuck Land Trust is sponsoring a free, guided walk observing the birds on Ash Creek's Great Salt Marsh Island from 5:45-6:45 p.m. Thursday.  Milan Bull, director of science and research for the Connecticut Audubon Society, will lead the walk. "The Great Confusion" features more than 60 works by American and European painters that were featured in the 1913 Armory Show in New York City.
