Stamford's Avon Theater Presents 'Goonies' Costume Contest STAMFORD, Conn. -- Hey, you guys! The Avon Theatre will have a special screening of "The Goonies" at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19 with a pre-film reception at 6:30 p.m. The event will feature a costume contest with prizes. Ridgefield Chef Hosts Farm-To-Table Event RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Farm-to-table dinners are a poplar way to support local farmers, and chef Dona Giorgadze recently hosted one at Lounsbury House in Ridgefield.
