Ridgefield Playhouse Presents 'Blues Brothers Revue'
RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Dan Aykroyd, Judy Belushi and Paul Shaffer’s "Blues Brothers Revue" is coming to The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, March 14.
The Official "Blues Brothers Revue," produced by Aykroyd and Belushi with musical director Shaffer, brings back the live concert extravaganza that was the Blues Brothers.
With the humor and set list from the original film and albums, Wayne Catania is Jake and Kieron Lafferty is Elwood. They will play the classics such as “Soul Man,” “Rubber Biscuit,” “Sweet Home Chicago,” “Rawhide,” and “Gimme Some Lovin.”

Letter: March 12 Marks Half-Day For K-2 Students
SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Lynne Shain, assistant superintendent for instruction, has issued a letter to K-2 parents in Scarsdale.
Dear K-2 Parents,
We will be using Thursday, March 12, as the replacement date for March 5 K-2 parent conferences. That means March 12 is a half for all K-2 students, along with the existing dates of March 10-11. If you had a conference scheduled for Thursday, March 5 your conference has been rescheduled for the same time slot on Thursday, March 12.

William (Bill) Slinsky Sr., 72, Of Darien
DARIEN, Conn. – William (Bill) Slinsky Sr., a resident of Darien since 1965, died Sunday, March 8, 2015. He was 72.
Born June 28, 1942 in Stamford, he was the son of Martin and Viola (Toth) Slinsky.
Slinsky graduated from Stamford High School in 1958. He was a partner with the Stamford Auto Mart and A Tin Lizzy Car Rental. Slinsky was a parishioner of St. John Roman Catholic Church in Darien. Josephine Melfi, 87, Of Stamford
STAMFORD, Conn. – Josephine M. Melfi, a lifelong Stamford resident, died Saturday, March 7, 2015 at her residence. She was 87.
Born June 22, 1927, she was the daughter of Charles L. Davis and Josephine (Kaelin) Davis. Melfi touched many lives through her work as a paraeducator in the nedia center at Westhill High School for the past 29 years.
