Giving Day In Fairfield County Raises More Than $1 Million FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Fairfield County’s second annual Giving Day raised more than $1 million on March 5 for nearly 400 Fairfield County nonprofits, thanks to 14,022 online donations and 13 business and foundation sponsorships. “Our goal was to raise $1 million in 24 hours for Fairfield County nonprofits,” said Juanita James, president and chief executive officer of the Fairfield County Community Foundation.
