Michael Nolan, a 23-year-old Yonkers native, was shot around 12:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Burger King on Central Avenue, reported News 12 Westchester. Mahopac's Anthony Lombardi Finds Success At Quarterback As Transfer PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. – Mahopac's Anthony Lombardi has found success after transferring to Stamford's Trinity Catholic High School in Connecticut to play quarterback, reports the Stamford Advocate. Lombardi joined the Crusaders two weeks before the 2014 season began and led the team to the Stamford city football championship a year after the Crusaders went winless. The Crusaders' 7-4 record was good enough to win the city title, according to the Advocate. Lombardi threw for almost 1,700 yards and 21 touchdowns last year. Man Charged With Allegedly Violating Order Of Protection In Yorktown YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. – A Croton Falls man was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal contempt after allegedly violating the terms of an existing order of protection in Yorktown on Sept. 10. Jonathan Gonzalez-Cisneros, 27, was arrested after Yorktown Police were made aware of an alleged domestic incident that violated an existing order of protection. Gonzalez-Cisneros was arraigned and given orders to appear in Yorktown Court on Oct. 15.

Mount Vernon Man Fights Murder Charges For Fifth Time MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. – Selwyn Days, the Mount Vernon man who has been put on trial four separate times on murder charges, will face a fifth trial, News 12 reports. Days' conviction from the fourth trial in 2011 was thrown out by a state appeals court earlier on Wednesday, as he appealed that he wasn't able to present expert testimony at that trial, the report said. Ridgefield Rec Launches Kids Conditioning Program RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – Ridgefield-based personal trainer Sean Lawrence will lead three kids sports' conditioning classes for ages 9 through 12 through the Ridgefield Parks and Recreation Department. Lawrence plans to have attendees running, jumping, and enjoying various challenge games. The three courses run from Sept. 20 to Nov. 1, Nov. 8 to Nov. 20 and Jan. 10 to Feb. 28. Each class lasts for six weeks, and meets every Sunday from 9 to 10 a.m. The program is open to Parks and Rec members and non-members alike.
