Proceeds from the sale are earmarked toward helping local veterans move into finished homes around Veterans Day in November. Discounts will be as high as 50 percent, and other events are planned. Cortlandt Man, 24, Faces Dwai Charges CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. – A Cortlandt Manor resident was arrested on driving while ability impaired charges after being found unresponsive in a vehicle on Aug. 31. George Maggiore, 24, was charged with two misdemeanors after troopers performed a welfare check on him. Along with the driving while ability impaired charge, he was also cited for possessing Clonazepam, a controlled substance. He was ordered to appear at Cortlandt Town Court on Sept. 11.

Police Investigate Stabbing In Yonkers YONKERS, N.Y. – Yonkers police are investigating after a man was stabbed in the back Saturday night, according to News 12 Westchester. The victim was discovered in front of a building on Highland Avenue in Yonkers with a wound in his back around 10:30 p.m., the story said.
