Bruce LeVine Mellion, 68, Longtime Norwalk Teacher BRIDGEPORT, Conn.. – Bruce Levine Mellion, of Bridgeport, died at his home on Tuesday, Sept. 8. He was 68. Mellion was born in Hartford in 1947 to Dr. Gilbert LeVine Mellion and Ruth (Berman) Mellion. He graduated from Conard High School, Keene State College and Eastern Michigan University. Mellion spent 31 years teaching industrial arts at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, and served as president of the Norwalk Federation of Teachers for the last 15 years. Paul P. Oteri, 94, Of Yonkers YONKERS, N.Y. – Paul P. Oteri, of Yonkers, died on Monday, Sept. 7, at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center. He was 94. Oteri was born on Feb. 14, 1921, in the Bronx to Albino and Grazia Oteri. He served in the military during World War II and worked as a butcher in Yonkers for 46 years after his service.
