Sally Chop, 93, Of Bridgeport
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Sally A. Yish Chop, of Bridgeport, died Monday, Aug. 31 at Gardner Heights Health Care. She was 93.
Chop was born in Bridgeport on March 28, 1922, to Andrew and Katherine Yish.
She worked for Shick Safety Razor and retired in 1984.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband Frank; son Robert; and her brothers and sisters; Frank Lesko, Stanley Yish, John Yish, Agnes Mikita and Lucy Stupac.

Alma Werchadlo, 86, Of Norwalk
NORWALK, Conn. – Alma E. Werchadlo, of Norwalk, died on Sunday, Aug. 30. She was 86.
Werchadlo was born in Queens, N.Y. on Sept. 24, 1928 to Herbert Beswick and Dorothy McIntyre Beswick.
She was predeceased by her parents and her daughter, Edith.
Werchadlo is survived by her husband Jack; two children, Charles of Norfolk, Va., Dorothy Beswick and her husband Israel Cordero of Seymour; two grandchildren, Shoshannah and Tyler Ryff; and one brother, Herbert Beswick.
Services will be held graveside on Sept. 1 at 2 p.m. at the Beth El Memorial Park, located at Richards Avenue in Norwalk.

Ahmed Zayat, who was born in Cairo, Egypt and now lives in Teaneck, turns 53 on Monday.
Zayat, a horse racing entrepreneur and the owner of Zayat Stables, was born Aug. 31, 1962.
Zayat held an interest in horses at an early age, as he ran horses at his local country club in Cairo.
After graduating from college in the United States and working in both the U.S. and Egypt, he bought his first horse in 2005, forming Zayat Stables in the process.
He is the owner of American Pharoah, the first horse to win horse racing's Triple Crown …
