Erratic Driving: Man Charged After Woman Killed In Crash On Busy Hudson Valley Roadway A woman died after her car was hit by a vehicle operated by a man allegedly driving erratically in the Hudson Valley. The crash took place in Rockland County in Central Nyack around 7:15 p.m., Tuesday, May 30 on Route 59 in the area of Broome Boulevard. According to Det. Guilty Verdict In Brutal Robbery-Murder Of CT Man Brings Justice, DA Says A Connecticut man has been found guilty of killing another man on a playground in a robbery-murder plot. Rickey Trayham, age 28, of New Haven, was found guilty on Wednesday, May 31 by a jury in New Haven of the murder of Rondell Atkinson on Monday, June 7, 2021, said New Haven State’s Attorney John Doyle, Jr. According to evidence introduced at trial, Traynham shot Atkinson, age 33, of West Haven, during a robbery at the Pease Road Playground in Woodbridge. Man Attacked With Machete In Bridgeport A 26-year-old Fairfield County man is reported to be in stable condition with severe lacerations to his head and face after being attacked with a machete. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 8 p.m., Sunday, May 28 at Seaside Park, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police. Drunk CT Woman Threatens Troopers After Fleeing Crash, Police Say A Connecticut woman who was allegedly driving drunk was charged with threatening officers after fleeing from the scene of a two-car crash.
