Federal Judge Orders Fairfield Man To Avoid Guns, Schools FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- U.S. District Judge Robert Chatigny ordered Fairfield's William Dong on Wednesday to keep away from guns and schools due to his repeated presence on an access road leading to area schools, according to ctpost.com. Dong faces a state trespassing charge for his Dec. 7 presence on the access driveway between Fairfield Woods Middle School and Jennings Elementary. Residents Evacuated After Darien Gas Leak DARIEN, Conn. -- A gas leak in Darien resulted in the evacuation of several people from their homes by emergency crews Wednesday, according to News 12 Connecticut.  The leak near the intersection of Intervale and Abbey Roads took place around noon when a construction crew accidentally punctured a sewer line, News 12 Connecticut reported.  There were reportedly no injuries.  Click here to read the News 12 Connecticut story.

Progress Continues On Goldens Bridge Development Proposal LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- The application process for the affordable housing development proposed for Goldens Bridge continues to move forward, according to the Lewisboro Ledger. John Bainlardi, the vice president of Wilder Balter Partners, presented an altered building plan reducing the number of housing units from 49 to 45 at the Dec. 15 Planning Board meeting, according to the ledger.  A motion to make the Planning Board the lead agency to provide oversight to the housing development did not pass. New York Times Gives Ridgewood's Fish A 'Good' Rating RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- Fish Ridgewood features a striking location and impressive seafood, according to a review by The New York Times food columnist Shiani Vora. Located in a former Bank of America with 30-foot-high ceilings, the seafood restaurant received raves for dishes such as its jumbo lump crab cake and grilled octopus, according to the Times.  However, its raw bar and Moroccan barbecue salmon were panned as "weak" and "flavorless," respectively, the Times review said.
